Initially he pursued a legal career, and associated with Dante Gabriel Rossetti. Later he became involved with limited edition publishing, and the Villon Society. Number 3 of a limited press. Bookplate of Sir Francis Danson to front pastedown. Sir Francis Chatillon Danson (1855–3 July 1926) was a British average adjuster. He was chairman of the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, for which he was knighted in the 1920 New Year Honours. CONDITION In a decorative paper vellum binding with gilt detailing. Externally smart, with only a few marks. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and very clean, with just some foxing to the endpapers.
