It is by Petermann as stated in the bottom left margin and is from an 1892 edition of Stieler's Hand Atlas, published in Gotha by Justus Perthes. The publisher is stated in the bottom center, the title of the atlas is in the upper right corner and the printing details in the bottom left margin. The map is not mounted, matted nor framed being sold as a single map as seen in the first pic. Overall, a nicely preserved antique map with bright strong color that would frame up well! Size: The map image measures approximately 13 by 16 (33x40cm) inches on a 15 by 19" (38x48cm) page as seen in the pic with a wide margin all around for framing as seen in the main pic. Condition: The map is in Good to Very Good condition with a centerfold as issued, printed on a heavy paper. There is tonal ageing, darkening around the edges, slight splits at the ends of the centerfold and minor chips off the bottom corners, otherwise it is very clean with an antique appearance that would frame up well, see the pics for more on condition.
