The coin, which has a plain edge, displays Queen Victoria's bust wearing a Laureate in her hair facing left on the obverse. The reverse displays Britannia seated and facing right with a light house behind her, a ship in front of her, the denomination surrounding her and the date below. The coin has the words "VICTORIA.D.G.: BRITT. REG. F.D." surrounding the queen's bust on the obverse. The reverse is marked "FARTHING 1885" surrounding a seated Britannia facing right. This is KM 753 weighing ~2.7 grams and measuring about 20 mm in diameter. A beautiful coin deserving a spot in your collection of British coins. It is beautifully toned in dark brown coloring. The coin has nice even honest wear to the high points and has scratches as well as some minor bag marks throughout. The obverse is very well preserved and the queen's face retains quite a bit of details of the face, the hair and the laureate.
