Description: Vintage ornate American Victorian pattern #2377 silverplated copper footed, handled waiter/butler serving tray featuring a lovely scroll leaf pattern. This extra large, heavy serving tray measures approximately 29" long, 18 inches wide and weighs approximately 11 lbs 6 oz. The base of this has the marks "Trademark 1883 F.B. Rogers Silver Co." with a crown logo and the number 2377. Structurally the tray is in very good used condition. The silverplating is in good condition in most areas; it would benefit from a polishing. There are some light scratches/rub mars in spots. There are some areas where the silverplating has worn away and the copper is exposed (see photos for examples). On the back side around the feet and handles there is some light corrosion. This tray would be stunning if restored to its' original glory. It would also make a lovely piece for any shabby chic decor.
