This volume came from a home built in 1850 in South Yarmouth, Massachusetts, a stone's throw from Bass River. With its high ceiling and ornate woodwork, it's easy to see why it was in the same family for 100 years. DETAILS/CONDITION: Covers show wear, including: rubbing to extremities, sunned spine, scuffs, and stains. All edges gilt. Lovely gilt detail on front and rear covers.
