Description: Scarce 1876 Virginia City, NV billhead from the Pacific Mill and Mining Company, Omega Mill, to Wells Fargo. The Pacific Mill & Mining Company was created by the Bonanza Firm (John Mackay, James G. Fair, JC Flood, & WS O'Brien) to consolidate their mining and milling operations after the Big Bonanza discovery in 1873. The Omega Mill was a tailings facility built in 1876 by the Pacific Mill & Mining Co. at the mouth of Sevenmile Canyon on the site of the old Gould & Curry Mill.
