It is from the German Bilder Atlas, considered the most extensive lexicon of natural and scientific images of the 19th century, published in Leipzig by Brockhaus, 1874. It is labeled in German. A facsimile copy of the title page is included. It is being sold as a single sheet from the Atlas, not matted nor framed, as seen in the pic. It is a very linear rendering of the ancient work, basically as seen in the pic. It shows various depcitions of Jesus Christ from Early Christian Good Shepherd in the Catacombs, St. Paul's in Rome and an altar by Cimabue, among a few other various images. Size: The image area measures approximately 8 1/2 by 11 1/2 inches (22x30cm) on a 10 1/2 by 13" (27x34cm) page with a margin all around as seen in the pic. Condition: It is in Good condition for its age with light tonal ageing, blank on the reverse, printed on strong paper. It is basically as seen in the pic.
