Description: 1870’s to 1880’s John Borland the second cdv. Published by Zorn of Philadelphia. John played football at Penn 1879-80. John, his wife and son were passengers on the Titanic when it sank. Only his wife and son survived. There is a detailed account of the Thayer family’s experience on the Titanic told by Thayer’s son. Gripping to say the least. Cdv is about 2 by 4 inch in size. Stains, toning and wear. Some damage top left corner of the photo that appears to be made by the publisher. Feel free to ask questions.
