Description: An S Kirk & Son hand chased repousse pattern silver master salt. It is marked on the bottom, with a monogram and #204, and 11 oz for the silver content. It was made from melted down French silver coins back in the 1850s to 1861. The coins were 11/12 part silver. So this is not quite 925, more like 91.6% . It's an old one.
