Description: Nice set of 15 vintage smoky oyster shell mother of pearl MOP sewing buttons. Simple carved design with a wide border. Beautiful silver gray color with fabulous iridescence and luster. Because these are natural material there may be slight variations in color and very small differences in size, qualities commonly seen with natural mother of pearl. From a button manufacturer that closed in the 1940s, these buttons have been in deep storage for years and were quite soiled when we received them.
