This timeless late 18th century wallpaper was discovered on the wall of a closet in an old house in Ashford, Connecticut. It is an understated, elegant paper that maintains an informality and friendliness. The style is complementary to a range of decorating styles from country and colonial through federal and other neo-classically influenced periods. Equally effective as a backdrop for primitive painted furnishings and the finest sheraton and hepplewhite. The same room with 10 ft. high ceilings would need 12 rolls. To paper the walls of an average 10 x 14 room with 8 ft. ceilings you will need, in general, a minimum of 14 rolls. If you have 10 ft. ceilings and a 16 x 20 room, you will likely need a minimum of 26 rolls. You should use an on-line wallpaper calculator to determine your exact needs. There are several available.
