An original gas fixture from the late 1800's to early 1900's, wired for electricity, new socket installed, working well and ready to hang. A single wall sconce with so much personality!Solid brass with a stunning antique gold finish that shows off the beautiful, intricate details. The glass shade is a frosted 3 tiered flower with lots of pretty "movement" in the petals. Use one standard-base light bulb up to 60 watts, or use an LED bulb for any brightness you like. Here are details about the restorer: The late Bob Daly was a marathon runner and worked in his family's burglar alarm business until he started his own antique lighting restoration business in Fenton, Michigan in the 1980's: "Historic Lighting Restoration Services and Sales". He was restoring antique lighting for almost 40 years. This beautiful light was thoughtfully and skillfully restored by Bob to the tiniest detail. From new wiring to cleaning to touching up, buffing and polishing, Bob was a master at the details. He loved what he did and was excited to share these restored works of art with the next generation (see a newspaper article picture of him in photo #24). He worked with loving care, and you can be proud to own one of his restorative works of art.
